Behold the Hebrides
Take a tour of the islands of Skye, Mull, Iona and Fingal’s Cave on Staffa. Discover magnificent landscapes, ancient castles and a wealth of wildlife with Gordon Gadsby, when he joins the Wye and Upper Derwent Group of the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.
The talk takes place on Monday 22nd February 2010 at Darley Dale Methodist Church Hall, Dale Road, Darley Dale. Starting at 7.30pm, admission is £2. For more information contact the Trust on 01773 881188.
The Music Hothouse - Holiday Workshops
Easter Big Band course: April 13th - April 16th 2010 at Murray Park Community School. All genres of Big Band music will be rehearsed. Suitable for all ages (up to 18) and abilities. Easter concert: April 16th
Summer Big Band Course: July 26th - July 29th 2010 at Murray Park Community School. This may be a residential course depending on the availability of Rugby School. Suitable for all ages (up to 18) and abilities. Summer concert: 29th July
Summer Latin Big Band Course: Aug 16th - Aug 19th at Murray Park Community School. All genres of LAtin Big Band music will be rehearsed: Mambo, Salsa, Samba, Cha-Cha... Suitable for all ages (up to 18) and abilities.
Summer Hot Shots Course: Aug 23rd - Aug 25th at Murray Park Community School. Rehearsing a wide variety of fun and accessible music including James Bond and the Final Countdown.
