We did it - triumphant smiles say it all! John Dolby describes the scene for listeners.

John and Helen join local runners, Derbyshire Dales District Council and Sainsbury at the Sports Relief Mile on Ashbourne Recreation Ground.
A proud runner receives her award at the end of the Sports Relief Mile - and John Dolby is there for Ashbourne Radio listeners.

Where was Steve during the Sports Relief Mile? "Well, someone had to stay in the studio to play records," he said. Typical!
Steve congratulates American Rock'n'Roll Hall of Famer Eric Haydock, former bass player with the Hollies, as The Hollies' induction is announced. Along with numerous UK hits, The Hollies also had a number one US hit with Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress).
